Stars, July 12 & 26, August 9
Evening concerts in
front of the Dr. Saul Recreation Center, 6-9 pm. Performances by The
Paul Kayser
band (traditional American, New Mexican and Mexican music), Sons of the
Rio Grande (Western Swing), respectively, The Daddyos (50s Rock 'n
Roll), all music
suitable for dancing in the street. Bring your own chairs, blankets,
and food. In case of rain, the event will move inside the community

Sunflower
Festival, August 23
Celebrating
sunflowers, art, music, poetry and life at Dr Saul Community Center
& throughout town. Live music, food
& drink, Art & Crafts
exhibits & vendors, Flea Market & Farmer’s Market, Chili
Cook-off, Sunflower Hat Contest, Sunflower Mosaic raffle, antique auto
tours of historic Rancho Bonito & more. Runs concurrent with the Poets & Writer’s
Picnic and Sunflower Poetry Writing Workshop at the Shaffer Hotel. For more information,
