June 5-7 Gran Quivira Centennial Celebration  
Salinas Pueblo Missions, NPS: the official Centennial birthday party starts Saturday June 6  with activities, exhibits, demonstrations and performances at Abo, Quarai and Gran Quivira. June 6 - July 15 Art Exhibit: "Honoring Tree Bones"  
At Cibola Arts, featuring works of weathered wood and decorative tin by Anne Ravenstone. Other gallery members also on display, many on sale. Reception Saturday, June 13, 2-4pm.

At the JP Helms Rodeo Grounds, off NM Hwy 55 South (South Limit). Sanctioned by the New Mexico Junior Rodeo Association (NMJRA); hosted by the Mountainair Gymkhana Rodeo Association (MGRA). July 4, Annual Firecracker Jubilee
Mountainair's longest running event, this year Jubilee falls on the fourth instead of the traditional "Saturday before the 4th."  Jubilee is an old-fashioned, small town Independence Day celebration: morning parade open to anyone and everything that rides, drives, walks or rolls. Prizes for entries. The parade ends at the Mountainair Activity Center (former Campgrounds), followed by a day of fun with BBQ, all kinds of food and beverages, games, live music, crafts, vendors, carnival, anitique car show and more, with the traditional Fireworks at dusk followed by dancing through the night.
